Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but I have always had a preference for pearls. There is something classic and beautiful about them and the people who wear them. But these $1,070 Jean Paul Gaultier pearl mary jane pumps have me thinking twice. With rows upon rows of pearls trimming the straps of these pumps, it all seems a little bit much for me. Especially when the plush velvet reminds me of old style theatre curtains - did I just say that about JPG shoes? One thing I do love is the chain dangling off the ankle strap though. That's something right?
