Over-the-knee boots have long been regarded as something that street walkers are known to strut about in. This tends to be attributed to Julia Roberts and her turn as a hooker-with-a-heart in Pretty Woman. But more recently I have wondered whether I could wear over-the-knee boots and feel comfortable in them. Watching them on the likes of Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada certainly stirred up the question again. But then, I recently saw them on Brooke Hogan and instantly backtracked again.
