Uggs finds a new home in Covent Garden

uggs_coventgardenstore.jpgThey are often lumped in the same category as those hideous Crocs things but if you ask me, undeservedly so. They are, after all, the comfiest boots known to womankind, and despite what some will tell you, are designed strictly for inside the home and not to be worn with denim skirts for the outside world.

Regardless, Uggs Australia seem to be doing something right as they have just opened a new store in Covent Garden. This quickly follows the outlet they launched at Westfield less than a month ago.

"As one of Ugg Australia's largest markets, the brand is embraced by the UK and its residents. We are thrilled to put our mark in Covent Garden, such an exclusive shopping destination in London," said Connie Rishwain, the company's president.

Check out the latest sheepskin-lined footwear and other accessories at: 39 Long Acre, London, WC2E 9LG. It is open now. [via Vogue.com]

Anyone who has gone sneaker shopping in the last 30 years knows that $15 is not going to get you much when it comes to lacing up a pair of basketball shoes.
