The height and shape of these Bebe wedges reminds me very much of the Stella McCartney wedges we featured back in August, which had a similarly high heel, but nude patent uppers. The Bebe versions may be basic black, but they're still very striking - and look pretty precarious too, although I have to admit, I'd love to try them on and see for myself how easy they are to walk in. Definitely shoes for those who like their heels high, they're $179 - and why Bebe have chosen to show them worn with a pair of laddered tights is beyond me!
