At first glance, you may be wondering why I'm showing you a humble pair of black court shoes. Well, humble they may be, but I think there's a certain art to making a plain black court shoe: there are a lot of very average ones out there, but I don't think this one from Miss Selfridge is one of them. Having seen this shoe in person, I can confirm that, although plain, there's nothing "boring" about it, and it's the kind of shoe that will add instant sex appeal to things like pencil skirts and tailored dresses or trousers.
