Shoe with mid-height heels can be the hardest ones to buy, because for some reason, a lot of shoe designers seem to think that if you want a mid-height heel, you're also going to want to look "sensible" and, dare I say it, frumpy. Not Bourne, though. Their 'Janie' peep toes have a heel that won't break your ankle, but they're neither sensible nor frumpy looking - quite the opposite, in fact. These are super-glamorous, and rather gorgeous, and as those are words I'm not used to applying to this height of heel, I have to say, I'm impressed!
