Christian Louboutin red platform slingback Mary Janes

You wouldn't think there were many things you could do to a red Mary Jane to make it more interesting, but I still think these ones by Christian Louboutin are among the nicest Mary Janes I've seen this year - and I say that as someone who doesn't normally even like slingbacks.

The bright red colour helps, of course, but so does the cute little button, while the covered platform and high heels add to the appeal of these shoes. There's always something just a little bit cartoonish about red Mary Janes, but I mean that in the nicest possible way, and think these ones would add a touch of fun to anything to wore them with.
