OK, that's it. This trend of calling everything a "boot", regardless of what it actually looks like has to stop. I mean, Net-a-Porter list these Givenchy shoes on their website as "shoe boots", but to me, those are sandals. Sure, they've got chunky straps which will cover a fair old bit of your foot, but that doesn't make them "boots", and so I'm going to call them as I see them: stiletto sandals. Pretty cute ones too, actually. The hot pink makes them instantly eye-catching, and the straps covering the top of the foot is a little bit unusual. For sandals. They're £465 at Net-a-Porter.
