I know the cut-out wedge was popular a while back, but I have to be honest: I think Jessica Simpson's designers should stick to the pretty, feminine styles they're so good at, rather than trying to be "directional" - especially when the direction in question is one other designers were taking several months ago.
That's just me, though, and I wasn't a fan of this style when it first appeared, so I'm probably not the best placed to judge. If you did appreciate the look, though, I guess this will make a nice, affordable version of it, given that these shoes are only $90.95 from Zappos.
