I know gladiator sandals were the look of the summer, but for some reason I find myself liking the style more now that it's winter, and now that the "gladiator" style is being applied to heels and wedges (you know, the kind of thing that actual gladiators would never have worn) than to flat sandals. These ones by Robert Clergerie have a demi-wedge heel and shiny metallic upper that will make them a refreshing change from all of the satin peep toes and strappy sandals at the Christmas party this year.
