Sophia Coppola's bag and shoe line for Louis Vuitton debuts in Tokyo
From our super sister site, Catwalk Queen...
Sophia Coppola has debuted her first line of handbags and shoes for Louis Vuitton. The director unveiled her special collaboration in Tokyo last week.
In terms of designing shoes, Coppola admits she was keen to craft "a heel you can really wear all night and it's comfortable but still looks chic," she told WWD.
"I travel a lot and when you travel, you don't want to bring 10 pairs of shoes."
The collection features an array of clutches, duffle bags and Seventies retro wedge peep-toe sandals. Coppola spent a year working on the line, with the highlight, the SC bag available in four versions.
With a Miss Dior commercial now also under her belt, it seems as though the sky's the limit for Sophia right now.
