Studs are almost in danger of taking over from sequins as the shoe-embellishment of choice this Christmas, so it comes as no surprise that they're being used on seriously dressy shoes, as well as on ones with a bit of a punky edge to them. These ones are by Karen Millen, and are very sparkly and glamorous - it was only when I took a closer look that I realised they were actually covered in studs, and not the sequins I'd first assumed. These are expensive at £250, but are a very up-to-date party shoe for the fashionistas among you!
