Topshop shoes are really not for the faint-hearted these days. All I can say is that if Nicholas Kirkwood's predictions for the fate of the platform heel are correct, Philip Green had better listen up because the shop's collection is currently dominated by extreme heels.
This 'sharp' style is a good example of what's on offer, but I picked it out mostly as I like its take on the pom-pom/tassel embellishment style that I think really cheers up a shoe. But will platforms still be walking tall in the new year? £65 at Topshop
