I haven't worn a pair of Dr. Martens boots since I was about 12, although sometimes I do wonder why I completely discarded them... I guess you could say I'm more of a heels girly girl now, but I do sometimes find myself longing for those simple days of Docs, grungy shirt and jeans.
These patent yellow boots might not have me kicking off my stilettos just yet, but they certainly got my attention. I think they would be fun to play around with come summer - because let's face it, they will still be wearable during a UK summer. And at £35 (they're currently on sale now at Topshop) it wouldn't matter too much if I happen have another 1997 moment and decide not to wear them again for another decade or so.
