I don't know if you've heard the sad news about eLuxury yet. They're due to shut up shop over the next six months or so, in order to become an online magazine concentrating on the luxury market. The LMVH-owned site has been a steadfast online shopping presence for the past eight years, so excuse us if we feel a little teary.
However, the good news is the site isn't another victim of the evil recession, but is closing down the retail portion because the brands sold on eLuxury have developed their own strong online presences.
There is more good news and it begins with an 'S' and ends in an 'A', 'L' and 'E'. Shoes are marked down and now the toughest thing is choosing between boots (good for now, good for next winter) or sandals (too cold for now, but great for summer). I'm eyeing up these L.A.M.B two-tone lace-up pumps - they're $245 (down from $405).
