Fornarina red heart peep toe courts

Abi asked yesterday if hearts were becoming the new bows in the world of footwear, and here's some more evidence to support that theory. Of course, it may just be the fact that Valentine's Day is fast-approaching (do people actually wear heart-themed clothes for Valentine's, though?), but these Fornarina shoes are definitely wearing their hearts on their, er, toes.

Now, I'm normally almost as big a fan of hearts as I am of bows, but these just don't sit right with me: they're just way too gaudy and a tad tacky, I think, although it may just be the red patent that's doing it. if you "heart" them, they're £110 from Oli.
