Giambattista Valli patent platform crepe pumps

I know platform soles are almost a pre-requisite for shoes these days, but I wish Giambattista Valli had managed to resist them in this case. Without the platform, these would've been the perfect pair of nude heels, but that short black sole looks out of place and ruins the shoe for me, sadly. Of course, without some height in the sole, I'm guessing those heels would've been impossible to walk in: the website I found them on doesn't state their height, but they look to me to be a good 5" - for serious stiletto fans only, then!
