These boots have two of the features I least-like in knee boots: they're lace-up, and they're embroidered. Both details are generally a little too fussy for me, because I prefer boots to be sleek and simple, so I can wear them with absolutely everything. These ones, of course, are different, but somehow I can't quite hate them. Maybe it's just that we've seen enough of "sleek and stylish" this winter so far, or maybe it's the more rustic vibe that's starting to come through for Spring, but I'm going to go against my instincts and say these could be lots of fun, if you wear them with something simple, like jeans or a full skirt.
