I'm not sure I'd have described these as "gladiator sandals" exactly, but they are in that chunky, strappy style that we've been seeing so much of over the past year, and, much to my surprise, it's a style that's grown on me to the point where I really quite like it. I think these kind of shoes can look good with anything you'd normally have worn a more delicate heel with, so dresses, skirts, trousers - they all look just a little bit edgier with a pair of high heeled gladiator sandals, although it has to be said that the pale blue colour of these ones keeps them softer than they'd otherwise have been.
Being Balenciaga, these aren't cheap, but if you like them, you can buy a pair for £680 at Browns.
