What a strange name for a sandal, Newt. Its not quite what you would have in mind when you think of "eye of newt" (you know, the must-use ingredient in mythical potions from much loved shows like Bewitched. While these cut out sandals by Coclico shoes may resemble an animal on some level, I sort of like them. There is something about the peep toe and cut out detail along the front of the shoe. The open back and wooden wedge heel adds a colour contrast that is needed to keep the shoe looking light and summer ready. Sleek but with individual style, these shoes are definitely growing on me, animal like or not.
