Here's a slightly different style of flat from the ballerina style we tend to see more often. Personally I've never been very keen on flat shoes with ankle straps: flats make my legs look dumpy enough without adding the problems of an ankle strap into the mix, but that's just me, and if you have the kind of legs that can handle these easily, they could be an interesting addition to your wardrobe.
