House of Holland added a splash of colour yesterday at its London Fashion Week A/W 2009-10 show. Offering a range of Pantone-coloured, horizontal striped ensembles, footwear was equally matched in green, blue, pink, purple and grey.
Clean lines with widestraps held court in knee-high lengths, platforms and shorter wedge styles. Thick and clumpy, they almost remind me of orthopaedic shoes, only much more stylish of course.
