I'm starting to think the whole "hearts on shoes" thing is more than just a Valentine's Day fancy... Here's yet another pair, this time from Marc Jacobs, who's added the heart into the wedge heel. This could have all gone terribly wrong, and ended up looking like some kind of stripper shoe, but actually, my first instincts tell me I quite like these, hearts and all. I think "subtle" is probably the wrong word for them, but the heart detailing is something people would probably only notice if they decided to take a closer look, so it's less obtrusive than you might think.
