Shoe indulgence: Roger Vivier £30,000 couture heels

In these sketchy economic times you might well say that a pair of £30,000 designer heels is a little ostentatious. But that hasn't stopped Roger Vivier from unveiling the 'Dovima' heel at Paris Haute Couture Week. Designed by Bruno Frisoni, they feature 24 carat gold-coated mesh, semi-precious stones, satin ribbons, silk chiffon, diamanté and crocodile skin. Got a handy spare 30k?
