These aren't the first heart-toed shoes Alexander McQueen has made, but they do seem particularly appropriate right now, with Valentine's Day almost upon us! I think the nude and black colours of these are what makes them so stunning: in a pink or red they might have ended up being a bit too much, but this muted colourway keeps things classy, and makes these interesting as well as simply cute. They come with a hefty $899 price tag, but hey, if your significant other is stuck for V-Day ideas, he can always head along to Zappos...
