They may not look like much in the picture, but I saw these New Look sandals in-store last week, and can report that they're much nicer in real life - in fact, I was really quite tempted by them, even although they're not my ususal style at all. The bronze uppers are shinier than they look in the picture, although not too shiny, and the platform somehow looks higher. I think they'd be the perfect antidote to summer's floral dresses and swishy skirts, and they're very reasonably priced, too, at £25.
