Ordinarily, these shoes would be covering too much of the foot to really set my heart racing: it's just a few short steps away from being a shoe-boot, and although I've started to be won over by them lately, they're still not my absolute favourite style. These, however, are adorable, and I'm seriously tempted by the beige suede version (they're also available in black leather), which would make a great, on-trend shoe for summer, and a nice break from the usual sandals and wedges.
