We have been waiting for some really crazy shoes to bowl us over at fashion week, and I think we have a winner folks! These crazy-high heel-less stilt shoes blew the audience away yesterday at the Nina Ricci A/W 2009-10 show in Paris.
Offering a jester-like quality, these mainly black and purple creations surely put the fear into the heart of many a model. But if you look closely, the detailing on them is also worth noting - beading, sparkles, satin and laces. According to those there, not one model tumbled or tripped so perhaps heel-less shoes are the way of the future. [via The Cut]
