Pink patent platforms from Dorothy Perkins

Of all of the shoe trends around at the moment, one of the ones I've been seeing most of is something I've come to think of as the "Barbie" shoe. This is always bright, bubblegum pink, has to have a high heel, and is generally a court shoe, although I've seen a few peep toe and sandal versions, too. These Dorothy Perkins platforms are the perfect example, although they're perhaps more Elle Woods than Barbie. Either way, they're supremely girlie, very, very bright, and a little bit 80s. Just make sure you don't wear too much pink with them!
