Ugly Shoe of the Week

Nope, I just can't do it. I've tried to like/understand the current trend for flip-flops with legs attached to them, but I'm still totally confused by it. Why would you need a jersey sock on your flip flops? To me, these fall into roughly the same category as the peep toe and cut-out boots that have been taking over the shoe world, the only difference being that while I have seen the odd peep toe boot I've quite liked, I'm yet to see a flip flop/sock combo that doesn't just leave me scratching my head in bewilderment.

These ones are from Urban Outfitters, and are $180 - a fact that makes them even more puzzling to me...
