There is a little bit of nautical style in everyone... at least that's what I convince myself.
These 'Juliet' wooden peep-toe platforms, featuring rope detail, are a great example of nautical footwear, minus the typical anchors, stripes, etc. They add just the right amount of sailor without looking like you're trying to imitate Popeye. They are £95 from French Connection.
