Date for your diary: 14th May shoe swap at Laura J

If you're in the London area and like the sounds of (a) designer shoe bargains and (b) 'bottomless Pimms', then I suggest you note this upcoming event down in bright red marker pen: Islington boutique Laura J is holding a series of shoe swaps, with the first in the season taking place this Thursday from 6pm at the shop.

For a £1 entry fee (you'll also have to bring along at least two pairs of footwear to take part - probably not your Primark flip-flops!), Laura J will be laying on a spread of vintage style refreshments (as well as the aforementioned Pimms!) in the form of cucumber sandwiches and teacakes. There'll also be a selection of vintage clothing and accessories for sale on the night, provided by French Kiss vintage and Umi & Co. Best of all, there's a guaranteed range of sizes, so it looks to be an evening of bargains for all!

Islington is my stomping ground I plan to be there - it would be great to see some more Shoey readers on the night!
