YAY OR NAY: Jimmy Choo biker boots

I'd never have guessed that these clodhoppers were made by Jimmy Choo, but finding out the name behind the boot didn't make me any more sceptical.

Biker boots are fine in the right context, but for me at least they'd never be on my list of 'shoes to spend a fortune on', and at £650 they're completely out of the question. I mean, Doc Marten do a great job of satisfying our need for big stompy boots on their own, don't they? And at a fraction of the cost. Or maybe I just wish Mr. Choo would get back to designing elegant courts...
