YAY OR NAY: Red or Dead Bon Bon 3D Flower

yay-or-nay-red-or-dead.jpgNormally, I love flower motifs on shoes without question, but I'm not sure what to make of these ones by Red or Dead, which seem to have all the ingredients for a cute pair of peep-toes, but they've jumbled them up in a slightly weird order.

The '3D flower' itself is kind of pretty but it's a bit too large and way too complex to be sitting slap-bang in the middle of the strap. On the toe, it could have worked, but the designers have tried to be a little too clever here. That's my humble opinion anyway. What's yours?

Well, it looks a bit out of proportion--a small flower would have worked better.

Agree with both of the above...I saw them 'in the flesh' yesterday after I wrote this and discovered that they look no better in reality than they do in the picture! Very odd. Still, they're on sale...
