revel-sandals.jpgThey only closed down their stores a couple of years ago, but I'm already starting to feel a little nostalgic about Ravel. They were always the artier, more daring cousin of high street staples like Barratts and Clarks and I remember them being my first port of call for May Balls, weddings and parties.

Let's not forget then that Ravel lives on, with ranges in various online and department stores. They still go in for the more out-there styles, and right now you can get most of their summer styles at great prices. This super tall 'Bhodan' style, for example is half price at £40 from Shoes.co.uk
