Cosy Toes: Slipper boots for winter
I love skyscaper high heels, and I adore chic little flats. On cold days I look forward to pulling on my favourite bashed up leather boots or my (faux!) Ugg boots.
Confession time though, one of my favourite pieces of footwear is....my distinctly unglamorous pair of slipper boots. I've worn most of the soles off them, the once cosy inside layer is also wearing away, and the adorable bows on the side lost a fight a long time ago with my puppy.
So it's about time they were replaced. A serious contender for this purchase is this pair of grey star print booties from Peacocks. They're £10 and my cold feet are crying out for that toasty faux fur layer inside.

These knitted slipper boots from New look look like they might withstand a little more abuse than my current ones, and they'll be great when I have to pop outside with the dog. They're only £12 too, a great price for a boot that looks fairly similar to a certain Australian boot brand.

These chocolate fur lined slipper boots from Debenhams look good enough to eat, and make me think of toasty fires and hot chocolate. I know the bows will probably meet the same fate as my current boots, but for £14 and in such a yummy colour, I'm not sure I mind.

Finally, I've got my eye on the foil detail slipper boots in beige, from River Island. I like the way they've added the unusual foil detail to give it a slightly tougher edge whilst still looking all comfortable and inviting. They're £14.99 and also come in black and chocolate brown.
