I seem to recall a time when separating the heel and main body of a shoe with something as radical as two different colours was a complete style no-no, but at the moment it seems to be very much the done thing.
The contrast is very much what makes these smart booties by Miu Miu and the matte cream of the heels really enhances the shine on the leather so you can really sense its quality. I'd love a pair of these to see me through winter; they look tough. Sadly, so does the price: £387 at My Theresa
