New styles for a new season at New Look

New Look do a great job at nailing current trends, so I've been excited to see what's in store for budget-conscious shoppers this autumn. I've picked out these styles from their lookbook, which was released this week, and gives a good taster of what's to come. 'Spiky' is the watchword here, with some alluring textures and colours.

The cracked gold multistrap pumps are likely to be an instant hit, offering a cheaper alternative to Carvela's already cultish 'Acdc' style. They'll be in stores soon, priced at £50. The thigh-length boots, available in plum or black leather, will also cost £50 - an excellent price for a key trend that not all will dare to embrace. Finally, the piped boots are a versatile day-to-night style with just a touch of ladylike quilting - also priced at £50.
