Red patent ankle boots by Olga da Polga

Still on the hunt for unusual ankle boots, I spotted this brilliant red pair by Olga da Polga, a labal I'd normally associate with slightly quirky, reworked dresses.

Although they're actually made from patent leather, the shoes have a definite oilskin raincoat feel about them that will look amazing contrasted with black leather. These would work either over tights or under trousers, making them an ideal choice for winter booties.
