Who'd have thunk it? The latest application for the sort of reflective materials usually found on workmen's vests has sprung up in the unlikliest but most inventive of places: on the edging of socks.
Elena Corchero who makes the socks is a keen cyclist and came up with the brilliant idea of stitching the reflective lace into socks (as well as the hemlines of skirt, shorts and pretty much any other garment) to give them instant, high-visibility qualities. We *really* want to order some of this stuff before bonfire night!
