Poetic Licence are one of those labels who tend to throw everything including the kitchen sink at a shoe, without a second's thought for wearability - so it's great to see them coming out with something that's subtle enough to be easy to match but with all the character and interest you'd expect from an offbeat brand.
The main point of contention here is the blocky heel, but give it six months and they'll be everywhere. The heart-tie laces are just darling and the touch of polka-dot in the ruffle turns these fairly pedestrian suede booties into a winder wonderland classic. My main worry with these boots is how dirty they'd become once I realised I wanted to wear them every day...cute boots.
