Trompe l'oeil tights at Topshop

Henry Holland kicked off the Trompe L'oeil look with this awesome (and affordable!) faux-stockings range, and here's another mind bending pair from Topshop. The string lace effect will look great worn over bright opaques and patterned tights on a night out. For a more simple tonal effect try them over a pair of flesh-coloured tights or some grey opaques.

The tights are a bit OTT for daywear, so team with something a little subdued to tone them down slightly. A grey slouchy sweater dress and boots will look great if you're feeling a little timid but still allow for a glimpse of lacing. [Via Catwalk Queen]
