Update: Christian Louboutin's Barbie collaboration unveiled

As we recently reported, Christian Louboutin has teamed up with Mattel to create his own collection Barbie doll. The collaboration features the Barbie-pink, red-soled Louboutin heels that debuted in Barbie's birthday runway show during New York Fashion Week in February.

Now, the designer has created three Barbie dolls packaged in Louboutin shoe boxes, each available with four Barbie-size Louboutins. Each doll costs $150 and will be sold via BarbieCollector.com and Net-a-porter.com.

As for Louboutin's strange views on Barbie's thick ankles: "She needed great shoes, a thinner ankle and, to me, as I'm obsessed with feet, a foot more curved," he said.
