It isn't too much of a surprise but one of the first celebs to sport a pair of Alexander McQueen's crazy S/S 2010 shoes is Lady Gaga.
The always-dramatic popstrel dons a pair of the 10-inch monsters in the new music video for Bad Romance. As I said, it doesn't come as a total shock considering Gaga collaborated with the designer on his Paris show, providing the catwalk track which ultimately sent McQueen's live stream into chaos after her fans crashed SHOWstudio.com.
(Catch Gaga's video after the jump...)
But it was one of "our" own scenesters who was brave enough to wear the shoes in public... and on the red carpet no less!
Daphne Guinness had the paparazzi in a flashbulb frenzy when she trotted out at the Nars 15th anniversary party in New York in a pair of McQueen's armadillo-shaped designs. She officially became the first celeb to wear the shoes on the red carpet - my only question is, how?!
While Gaga opted for the sequin-versions, Daphne teamed her beige leather creations with a McQueen dress. High-end fashion at its delightful extreme... I love!
