United Nude block pumps at Kindered Sole

There's a lot of experimentation going on around the basic 'block pump' style at the moment and I really like this take on the look by eco-conscious footwear line United Nude.

Taking inspiration from the catwalk styles of Lanvin, Prada et. al, the 'blocky' look is rendered particularly well in UN's trademark angular style. The heel is positively architectural, while the shiny uppers look good enough to eat.

Would be yay if they were wearable.

They are gorgeous, but when I tried them on in their Covent Garden shop they were simply impossible. As soon as you take one step, your leg jutters and shudders with the force of the heel thrumming up your bones.

The heel is just too far back - great for sitting/standing and looking spectacular but utterly wrong if you actually want to go anywhere in them

The block pumps are definately worth the practise if you cant walk in the heels - comfort or style?! STYLE!!

absolutely gorgeous - can imagine them with black opaques and LBD, finished off with show stopping lipstick.
