Zippyboots: The next step for Redfoot
I recently wrote about Redfoot's range of women's fold up shoes, and their brand new range of men's leather fold up shoes.Well, they've now moved into the boots market, although this time it's a little different.
The Zippyboot is an ugg-style boot with four variable heights. You can wear the boot as it is, at full height as you can see on the right. The top section rolls down, so you can wear it with the sheepskin inner on the top, or unzip the top section completely. This then leaves you with the shorter boot, or an ankle boot if you turn down the top of this section.
In theory, I like the idea of this boot. four boot heights in one style is always going to appeal to my inner penny pincher. The downside to this boot is the visible zip on the larger boot. As someone who avoided the whole zippy trend this summer, I'm a little dismayed to see it reappear on this boot. The zip has been created in the same colour as the boot though, and I do really like the shorter styles. I can imagine wearing these under jeans throughout winter to keep my feet toasty and stylish.
They're £130, but really you're getting four boots for that. That's just over £30 per pair. Bargain! They come in three colours, tan, chocolate and black.
