Marc Jacobs quilted wellington boots

More designer wellies are kicking their way on to our radar, and today's crop is from none other than Marc Jacobs himself. Taking a bit of Chanel-esque inspiration, he's brought us these monochrome, quilted boots that are not quite like anything I've seen before - unless the thing in question is a Chanel handbag; it's definitely not a style we've seen rendered in rubber boots form until now.

The wellies, which would keep you snug and dry in utter elegance and grace, have a small heel and their padded rubber looks exceptionally cosy, too. I'm pretty sure that if I had these boots in my wardrobe, I'd be tempted to where them regardless of the forecast.
