heart-shoes.jpgWe *heart* hearts on shoes around here, and judging by the number of loveheart-adorned footwear that's popped up this year, so do you. Hearts have quietly been one of the biggest footwear 'trends' of 2009, up there with studs, nautical styling and outré heels - and they're guaranteed to make any shoe or boots look instantly cuter and more girly.

Looking back at a 'year in hearts' We've seen all these styles and man more, including cut-out hearts from Fornarina, yet more heart-festooned Lady Dragon shoes from Melissa and Dame Viv, and we even predicted at the start of the year that hearts would replace bows as the shoe decoration of choice, and by crikey I think we were right. What do you think 2010's motif will be?
