VOTE for your favourite shoe of the year: #1 Designer Delights

It's finally time to cast our mind's back over the past year, and the wonderful designer footwear we've seen on our screens, shop shelves and (if we're particularly lucky) our own feet.

Picking a selection from a year when designers have fallen over each other to bring out ever more extreme and jaw-dropping styles was not an easy job, so I've focused on some of the themes that have stood out strongest over the past twelve months: studs, animal print, geometric design and big wedges. I found this a tough call between 4 and 7. On looking at the results saw the studded heels (6) were doing well and found why when I saw the enlarged image. Wish I'd looked at that before voting, though it might not have changed my mind.

These shoes are so ravishing, that I'd totally be willing to pop an aspirin before wearing them, in order to dull the pending pain that the height of the heel will surely cause within one hour of rocking them. Take stye note of the unusual shape of the grommets and the dusty rose shade. Loves it!
