We quite like the unusual combination of floral print and patent here, as looking at these shoes from a distance, you'd expect them to be made from a matte fabric. Their shiny surface adds a dimension that brings them right up to date, making them a bit less jumble sale chic and a bit more 2010 elegance.
D&G's shoes just keep getting better, and I'd love to give this latest style a whirl in summer. You'll need to mothball them until then, because the heel is wooden: that definite hallmark of vernal footwear.
